Ready for the next webinar?

August is almost here, and so is our next webinar!

TITLE: Strategies for Connections

What's it About?

Caring for a loved one can often feel isolating—both for the caregiver and the person receiving care. Communication challenges caused by conditions such as dementia, stroke, or other health issues can make staying connected even more difficult. Add in the complexities of long-distance caregiving and balancing work responsibilities, and the challenge grows.
In this session, we’ll explore practical strategies to maintain meaningful connections with your loved ones, even when communication is difficult or distance separates you. We’ll also discuss the importance of connecting with peers and support networks to help you navigate the caregiving journey with resilience and confidence.

What You Will Learn:

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify communication strategies to enhance interactions with loved ones who experience cognitive or speech-related challenges.

  • Apply practical approaches for maintaining connection and involvement when caregiving from a distance.

  • Recognize the value of peer support and learn ways to engage with caregiver communities for emotional and practical assistance.

  • Develop a personalized connection plan that incorporates techniques for strengthening relationships and reducing caregiver isolation.
